St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates, P.C., is seeking a full time OB/GYN physician to join its established and respected team at St Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, respected OBGYN group that provides state of the art care. Our obstetrics/gynecology specialists provide a vast array of services, including care for patients with normal and high-risk pregnancies, as well as a wide range of gynecologic and women’s health concerns.

St. Peter’s Hospital OBGYN program is a robust program with an average of 3,700 deliveries annually.  Our comprehensive team consists of Midwifery, OBGYN, MFM, and level 3 NICU services.

St Peter’s OB/GYN is looking for a Physician to fill a Laborist role at our 442-bed community hospital.  This position is exclusively inpatient at St Peter’s Hospital, focused on managing patients in labor and overseeing routine and complex deliveries, including cesarean sections.  The role offers a shift-based schedule, requiring three 15 hour shifts per week.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have the following:

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology;
  • Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented;
  • Ability to triage, evaluate, supervise and provide care for both routine and high-risk deliveries with support from Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.
