St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a part-time Consult/Liaison Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in Adult Mental Health. Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY offers a comprehensive program in behavioral health that includes inpatient services across three units and a robust outpatient program located on the hospital campus. An interdisciplinary team provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of the patient.

 

POSITION DETAILS:

  • The Consult/Liaison Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide inpatient consultation coverage for patients at the Samaritan Hospital campus and will work collaboratively with the Hospitalists, specialists, and community providers;
  • The Consult/Liaison will provide psychiatric consultative services to the medical and surgical teams at Samaritan Hospital including the ER;
  • Consultations will focus primarily on patients with mental illness who have comorbid medical illnesses while in the hospital;
  • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work with the Samaritan Hospital behavioral health interdisciplinary team;
  • Part-time provider will have flexible schedule. 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have the following:

  • Licensed to practice in NY State.
  • At least 1 year of previous experience is required.
  • Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE: St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

  • Starting Bonus and Competitive Salary with Incentives
  • Base Compensation for 0.5 FTE is between $64,400 and $72,128.
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
